Windows 7 with SP1 is within IE11 system requirements. Toward the end it was posted that installing IE11 worked. This is a long thread with several solutions. It was “supposed” to fix the compatibility woth some MGI problems.

There is a MS compatibility update you might check to see if it is installed.
You might be using another browser most of the time anyway. One solution would be to rollback to IE9 & use another browser for the internet. There is an incompatibility with IE10 that prevents this so MGI doesn’t work. What is happening is MGI connects at some level with the internet when it’s opened. IE9 seem to work from what I found posted on the internet.
